The Story
Lauren and Lauren met in 2007 while Lauren Hogue was attending the College of Charleston and Lauren Pittman was working at Atlanta Bread Company. At first the Laurens were just part of the same circle of friends, but once they became an item in January 2008, they both fell head-over-heels.
Lauren Hogue finished her bachelor’s degree in May 2008. As part of the graduation festivities, Lauren and Lauren attended A Charleston Affair together. It was during that party that Lauren Pittman’s name tag accidentally was printed as “Miss Lauren Hogue-Pittman.” They laughed it off, but knew that it really felt like an act of fate. Lauren Pittman still has that name tag to this very day.
It wasn’t long until the Laurens were sharing almost every aspect of their lives. They adopted their precious kitties, Miller and Dennis in 2008. This made the pet count 3 for the couple, since Lauren Hogue came with her lovely cat, Stella. In 2010, LSquared took a big leap of faith by moving into their first house together.
Living under one roof brought them even closer. After living downtown for the first year, the Laurens found their dream neighborhood, Park Circle, and the place where they would call home for the next few years. In 2011, the couple expanded the pet count yet again with the best pooch two gals could ever ask for, Jackson.
In 2012 the Laurens were introduced to CrossFit. They drank the Kool-Aid (so to speak) and added the fitness regime to their never ending list of common interests. Their CrossFit gym also added to their already great group of friends. Through this group of friends, they were introduced to the nearby town of Hanahan. The Laurens were on the move yet again, in 2013.
Also in 2012, Lauren and Lauren used a common love of cleaning and organizing to start helping friends and family with occasional cleaning jobs. What started as a hobby has since grown and grown into a fulltime venture for the Laurens, as well as their two employees. Building a business that they love has been, and continues to be, a very exciting and fulfilling adventure.
Recently, the Laurens have again added to their brood of furry children (Crazy, they know). Jerome joined the Hogue/Pittman family in November 2014. Lost count? That’s 5!
From cats and dogs, new houses, and a growing business, every new adventure the Laurens have had over the past 7 years has been amazing because they’ve been together. Every vacation, celebration, and major life event wouldn’t have been complete without the Laurens experiencing them side by side.
2015 is poised to be another very exciting year for LSquared. After finally getting engaged in November 2014, they’ve been planning for their upcoming nuptials. They could not be more excited to share one of the most special days in their lives with all of their spectacular friends and amazing family.
